Five Minutes

Five minutes is just about the time limit that I can squeeze out of my boys to have their picture taken. Grant really wanted to pick apples this year, but we were having a hard time finding an opportunity on the weekends to go. One school night, after dinner, we hopped in the car and headed towards Picton, crossing our fingers that one of the orchards would be open. They weren`t, the boys were disappointed, so we settled on going for milkshakes instead. It was such a beautiful evening, that I convinced the boys (I think that the milkshakes helped) to stop at a boat launch on the way back to town, and shoot a few photos before the sun disappeared. All I want is one, one shot of the two of them together that I love, then I`m a happy mama:)

A sample of what I usually get from my silly boys!

Sticks and Stones

From the moment Ben stepped out of his car I could tell that he wanted to explore. We walked around the point and looked for the perfect stick, crawled under toppled down trees, jumped from rock to rock, and ran through the grass. It was good, old fashioned, boy fun!

How Can You Not Smile?

Silly boys. I am still trying to figure out why boys do some of the things that they do. I believe that the boy's mind is very unique. Grant and his buddy Reed have always loved to play with each other. Surprisingly, they tend to find mischief together. These photos just make me smile.

Vintage Grant

I just love this photo of my not-so-little-big-man-Grant when he was just seven months old, 2006 feels like yesterday.

Melt my heart...

I am a sucker for my boys. There is nothing better than their hugs and kisses!

`Love Day`

It`s amazing how much my little men change in a year. I`m beginning to notice it less with Grant, but Max seems to change everyday. The boys`grandma and grandpa travel to Florida for the month of February each year. It`s too far away for us to visit, and they miss them so much. Last year we took a special valentine photo to send them while they were away. The boys were up to it again this year (I know that I won`t get away with this for too many years). To me Max looked like a baby last year, and he is all little boy this year. Here are the `Love Day` photos from last year and this year.
