Better Together

Life is busy. Family is important. I think that it is wonderful that this family stopped, and made the time to get together to have a family photo session. I have had the pleasure of photographing them on several occasions, most recently for Tori and Sean's maternity photos, as well as their engagement and wedding photos before that. It is always tricky to coordinate six different family groups (especially when one sister lives in Bermuda), but they made it work. It was a hot, but gorgeous evening at Kingston Mills Locks. They were so much fun to work with! I hope that you all enjoy your sneak peak, you are lucky to have each other.

(Since our session, Tori and Sean welcomed baby Matthew into their lives!)

Sticks and Stones

From the moment Ben stepped out of his car I could tell that he wanted to explore. We walked around the point and looked for the perfect stick, crawled under toppled down trees, jumped from rock to rock, and ran through the grass. It was good, old fashioned, boy fun!

There`s No Place Like Home

Brynn is definitely a well loved little lady. Becky and John are so much in love with her, and it`s not hard to see why. She was absolutely adorable, right down to her perfect, little red shoes.

Sisters

Having a sister is something very special. These two little ones are so cute together. Abi is sweet and gentle with little Avery, but they are both full of spirit! They looked adorable in their matching dresses, and they even had their little toes painted pink too.

Baby on the Way

I really do have the best clients! One of the greatest things about being a photographer is being a part of the different milestones in my client`s lives. I love photographing people over the years, it is amazing to see their lives evolve. I met Tori and Sean three years ago when they were planning their wedding. We had an engagement session at Fairfield Park, and you could tel that they were very much in love. Several months later they were married at St. George`s Church, and had their wonderful reception at R.M.C., here in Kingston. It was great to hear from them again this past month to set up a maternity session, which they wanted to do at the same park where we had their engagements photos taken. I can`t wait to meet their beautiful baby boy soon!

Here are several photos from Tori and Sean over the years, and of course their maternity photos as well. Enjoy!

Adam & Annie

Usually I meet with my wedding clients several times before their actual wedding day, so it's always a little different when the only communication that I have with the bride and groom is through email for months and months. Annie and Adam live in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories (they got married in Kingston because that's where both of them grew up), and they weren't back in Ontario until a week before the wedding. When I popped by Annie's parents house the Thursday before the wedding, it was so nice to finally put a face to a name. They are both so laid back and relaxed. Annie and Adam were so excited to be getting married, but it became very obvious to me that next to the ceremony, the next most important thing was that they wanted their guests to have a wonderful time.

Their wedding had such a intimate feeling, and I felt right at home from the moment that I arrived. Everything was to be held in Annie's parent's backyard, the food was all prepared by family members, Annie's grandmother officiated the ceremony, her sister decorated the cakes, as you can see it was definitely a family affair. And, most of the guests lived within walking distance to the Casson home - how awesome is that! We stuck close to home and only ventured to the front lawn for pictures. This wedding was amazingly beautiful with a touch of whimsy mixed in.

Congratulations Adam and Annie. It was a pleasure to photograph your wedding and to have the opportunity to meet all of your family and friends. You are truly blessed to have so many people in your lives who care about you as much as they do. I hope that you enjoy your sneak peak.

Aren't these kids adorable!
